1 December 2019: 2pm: ‘Amazonia’ Paracarnival Parade This summer’s Paracarnival project in East London won the Best Theme Interpretation Award at Hackney Carnival. See them parade through Hallsville from Morrisons Canning Town. 4 December 2019: 10.30am-12noon followed by lunch: Penny Pepper shares the secrets of her success via a live feed and leads a special edition of the Pop-Up Poetry Club at Vicarage Lane Community Centre Stratford. 6-8 December 2019, 6-8pm on 6 December, 12-8pm on Saturday and Sunday: Together! 2019 Disability Film Festival, Old Town Hall Stratford. Our international Film Festival brings together films of all genres by Disabled filmmakers and/or featuring a central Disabled character. This includes a celebration of the work of Katherine Araniello on the opening night, and a two-day workshop for filmmakers on creating artists’ films on 5 & 6 December (11am-4pm daily at St Bart's East Ham). 10 December 2019, 11am-2pm: Our Lives, Our History with Newham Disabled Reps Forum. Vicarage Lane Community Centre. 13 December 2019, 7-9pm: Penny Pepper stops off from her Naked Punk tour to join us for our end-of-festival party. Plus Open Mic compered by Ju Gosling aka ju90. St Bart's Community Centre East Ham.
